the tip of the iceberg: egremont wins two awards

What a night! We’re delighted to report that at this year’s Management Consultancy Association (MCA) awards we were highly commended for two of the most hotly contended awards: Change Management in the Private Sector and Change Management Consultant of the Year. This is only the second year we have entered the awards and follows on from our MCA award success last year and recognition in the last 12 months in the UK and the US from the FT and US Consulting Magazine.

We’re proud of all the work that we do. These awards are just the visible tip of the iceberg of everything our combined consultant-client teams deliver. As Sean Connolly, CEO, wrote recently when commenting on his Global Leader in Consulting award, “Delivering exceptional work comes down to having a deep rooted and genuine curiosity about where an organisation is going.” That and a passion for doing the right thing and seeing organisations and people grow.

From winning technology to winning customers

Our highly commended award for change management in the private sector was for our work with photo-printing retailer, Snapfish. Brought in by their new CEO, Jasbir Patel, we helped to transform them from a technology company with declining sales into a retailer with a growing customer base.

We helped them to deliver what their customers wanted, to create an environment in which people could flourish, giving them a purpose beyond turning up at work every day. We also helped them redefine their strategy and build an operating model from scratch, underpinned by an economic model which focused their efforts and reversed a double digit declining sales trend into double digit growth. “Egremont enabled Snapfish to discover its core identity and unify the organisation around it. A true authentic leader

Judging from the warm comments Andy has already received from team members and clients alike, the entire team is delighted that Andy Morris has been recognised for the outstanding contribution he makes to Egremont and to our clients. Against very tough competition, Andy was Highly Commended as the Change Management Consultant of the Year.

It is not Andy’s style to boast about his achievements or to claim the project glory. He is the embodiment of an authentic leader, quietly yet persuasively aligning, uniting and empowering people to achieve more than they thought possible – courageously pushing his own and his clients’ boundaries.

He is responsible for setting up our practise in the USA and led the multi-million-dollar business transformation programme at Walgreens, which last year won the MCA Change Management award.
