Before joining Egremont, Catherine developed her analytical skills working to find consulting solutions for cultural institutions at Baker Richards.
She gained a first-class degree from St Andrews in English Literature before completing a master’s in eighteenth century and Romantic literature at Cambridge University. Her research focused on the links between comedy and Irish national identity, although her favourite topic was eighteenth-century female soldier biographies.
Catherine is also passionate about choral singing and loves to perform Early and Renaissance music with a number of choirs across the UK.
