executive dinner series
Our Executive Dinner series aims to create a forum where the kind of fascinating, insightful and sometimes surprising conversations we have with our clients can flourish and provoke debate across sectors. An opportunity to meet interesting people with interesting stories to tell and together debate the hot topics of the day.
insights from our last event: the alchemy of Amazon
Two locations, one hot topic. As our guests gathered at the Heddon Street Kitchen for the second in our series of London Executive Dinners there was a sense of excitement. And three weeks later across the Atlantic it was in the air once again, this time as we welcomed guests to the Ace Hotel in Chicago.
Our speaker Phil Green had promised to unlock the ‘alchemy of Amazon’ and give an insider’s perspective on the company he worked at for 8 years. A company that he describes as the one truly great company he has worked for.

insights from our first event: who wants to be a CEO?
Our inaugural event was held at The Savoy, London on 7th November. Rob Barnett, Transformation and People Director at Southern Water, stood up and asked us ‘So, who wants to be a CEO?’.
The average tenure of a UK CEO has dropped to around 5 years. Having worked with many over the years Rob shared the behaviours he believes the best CEOs have in common, and warned anyone with aspirations in that direction to enter into it with their eyes wide open.
